The Automotive Audio Bus (A2B®) system consists of a master and at least one slave, with a transceiver on the host controller acting as the master. The host transceiver generates the clock, synchronisation and framing for all slave nodes and can be programmed for configuration and readback over the control bus (I2C). Because multiple configurations are possible for a given A2B system, multiple evaluation platforms can be used in combination to verify system operation.
